Serious question here, are all of the SAC Level positions posted externally? And can someone from the outside with LE Supervisor experience be hired in as a Supervisor at FDLE?

I'd say the lack of an answer is your answer... NOPE.

At the command level like asst commish, commish, yes. Those are political appointments. At the field level, no. LE supervisor experience outside FDLE really doesn't translate to a usable skillset.

There was no advertised job when Foy took over Asst Commissioner and nothing posted for SAC in Orlando.

Why advertise when you already know who is going to get it?

Exactly...The ASAC picks were all BAD! Hell, the SACs to take over OROC would be sad! They pursued Massey as someone that is a change agent AND if fired due to new Commish, already has multiple pensions. GREAT pick BTW!

Massey is a REAL cop, not some FBI wannabe
