So its been almost 3 months since Sgt temporary Tony was gifted his position at BSO. Lets review his accomplishments to date:

1. Changed policy to allow beards and goatees. Now all of the deputies look like extras on duck dynasty, very professional.
2. NO other policy changes of substance.
3. Wears 5 stars which is only one less than his total number of years of supervisory experience in a small department.
4. Wears 3 hash marks which is the same number of years of experience in BF South Carolina for his underqualifedsheriff.
5. Has people get knocked out in training by sucker punching them from behind and putting them in the hospital.
6. Allows his assistant to have someone fired so her daughter could be hired.
7. Fails to give a legitimate raise to all of the hard working DLE Deputies.
8. Hires a school teacher as his Chief of Staff
9. Can't make one decision without checking with small town retired Chief Pustuzzi.
10. Completely NO-SHOWS at the cooper city founders day parade after committing to being the grand marshall.

Sounds like he is doing a great job and BSO is better than it ever has been. Keep up the good work rookie Sgt Tony. BDO.

WRONG. Nothing about his background sold anyone; nor it it of great interest. In fact, it was his lack of being "one of them" that citizens appreciate. What the public is LISTENING to is a man who will look at a broken system and say " Yeah, this is not working. We need to fix it." THAT'S why he's being supported. Israels refusal to acknowledge problems was what made him lose support. His failure to pull off an expression of sincere empathy when he cared about no one but himself didn't help. Tony, may or may not, be the right fit for the job, but an attempt to make changes is better than a failure to admit mistakes and take corrective action. If there's another candidate who impresses with PLANS to make change; that candidate will have a good chance. You'll see.
