Officer Amy Suarez has been with the North Bay Village Police Department for 21 years. She has covered and filled many positions including Motorcycle Unit, Corporal, Sergeant, School Resource Officer (which is her current position), and PAL liaison. She is also a member of the North Bay Village Honor Guard. Officer Suarez received the Jennifer Beth Turken Kindness Award during the 2016-2017 school year. Other involvements include coordinating the annual Toy Drive, monthly Movie Night, and other community family friendly activities. And for her unsuccessful suicide attempt, her abandonment of her child, making her police gun and car accessible to criminals, and a slew of other things including sleeping with Mcdrunky. That last one is why she enjoys so much protection. She continues to make things hard for the road guys in patrol because we have to cover her spot due to her crappy attendance.
