How long is the hiring process and how often do they hire ppl? I heard it’s really hard to get hired unless you know someone or come from a big department like nypd or lapd.

Don't believe everything you hear.

Even if we have an opening, we will run understaffed rather than hire someone who doesn't meet our rigorous standards.

We have hired officers right out of the academy, mid-careerists and retired from agencies large and small, local and out of state.
