That’s right! The reporter Nelson Rubio is involved BIG TIME with the fraudulent candidacy of Sophia Lacayo.

Perhaps the biggest con Sweetwater has seen to date. An investigative reporter in bed with a candidate and on top of that acting as the candidates campaign manager and actively seeking to propel said candidacy all while claiming to have no media bias.

And then there is the background of Jose Mejia for Sweetwater Commissioner:

* Violent criminal with multiple felony arrests, including armed robbery of an old woman to buy drugs

* A drug dealer who lived only yards from Sweetwater Elementary, he was arrested last year for possession with intent to
sell
* Recently had over 60 traffic violations outstanding. 60!

* He was onsite, but displayed cowardice at the FIU bridge collapse by not rendering assistance to dying victims

* Admitted in court documents that he is mentally ill

* A psychopath who continues to stalk numerous perceived enemies nonstop

* Repeatedly stalks and threatens residents, cops and public officials online

* Tried to bribe a commission candidate into giving him a city job

* Has problems separating fantasy from reality (He says he wants to be the City Commissioner in Charge of Police Matters, claimed to be the Sweetwater Messiah)

*Admits he is running for office to punish police officers who have arrested him

* Is a prolific liar

* Unemployed with no job history or job skills. A failed Uber driver and car salesman who thinks he can run a city.

* Is 28 years old yet has spent his entire life living with his mama

* Lied about getting a degree from FIU and most likely lying about still attending classes

* Threatened a journalist with physical harm for printing the truth about him

* Was stupid enough to get rolled in a strip club (Porky's) and then sues them

* His election strategy is to threaten his competitors and file numerous false complaints against them
