Wow I just saw that Boca’s starting salary is $68,200 and it is set to go up next year to $70k. They top out at $104 for a 9 year officer and you can retire in 20 years. I think I’m out of here!

Exactly! That’s because the FOP isn’t afraid of fighting. Just like city of Miami. The contract was rejected 3 times and finally they prevailed with a 3%-3%-3% along with other perks regarding discipline and off duty and other stuff
