How long has it been since you've gotten a nice contract? City is flush with cash and does not want to part with more then a few pennies, so they can get their special interest projects up and running. Plus, since the mayor got a nice $$, all directors and chief's want in on the cash cow. Beside staff comes first, with raises then us. While we fight for a 4%, staff will see a 10+ raise across the board.
