You really have to take the time do get on the official websites and find this information out.

11 paid holidays plus 1 floating holiday. Also if you shoot master which 95 percent do you get 1 more day and if you don’t get into an accident you also get another 1 day for safe driver. That’s a total of 11 paid Holidays, 1 floating, and 2 incentive days = 14 days. The paid holidays you can bank for 11.4 hours (one full shift) or get paid for 8 hours at straight time on top of your regular pay.

Thanks for the info. Also, you get 3.8hrs bi-weekly for vacation, which would be around 8 days per year. The limited amount of vacation days are due to the amount of days we get off with a 4x4 schedule I assume?

Pretty sure they just took an officer off the street and put her into personnel. Perhaps she can answer your questions for you.

It’s closer to 8.5 days of vacation and the same for sick time and it increases with seniority. You can use 4 days of sick time for “Personal” reasons not actually being sick. So if you really wanted to you could take 14 plus 8.5 vacation and 4 sick personal days and have a full 26 to 27 days off a year. Since four on four off means we only work half of the year or 182 days (15 days a month) you could not work for almost two straight months. I’m not sure how much more time off you would want or red after that? Just burning 4 days of time would get you 12 straight days off at any time, 12 days off is plenty of time to go on vacation, you could do that twice a year easy.
