Great news, my 7 years are up next year. So I don’t care about 4. Bring it back to 4.

There’s no reason to do that but I could see the union screwing the members

I had a rookie leave to the county. I told him don’t look back. He’s loving it no regrets

That is why they are writing everyone up with reprimand. They will paper your file so you can’t leave. Get out while you can. There are other dept that will have better pay and pension.

History repeat itself again. Next month they wil they say they are going to lay off officers because they are short on money.

Exactly that’s an another alternative way of keeping you guys here with a sh!tty pension and a temporary pay increase before they take it away. Drop might be gone with a horrible pension bout time you rookies retire. History repeats its self. Get out !!!! I know officer who retired living off of a 70k pension. Compared to other agency 100-120k pension.
Get Tf Out!!!! Or work as a Slave on a 46 for 20 plus years or more.

Wow. I can believe they are trying to keep this under the table and then surprise everybody. Here we go again, the city trying to save money by screwing with us. And the FOP should at least let people now with time. It may be better for some people to drop 7 now than 4 later.
