Chitwood and New Years Eve fireworks

By now everybody knows of the attempt by Sheriff Chitwood to stop the fireworks on New Years Eve. Just looking at the social media (to include the VCSO homepage and community watch pages) everybody knows what an absolute joke this effort was. This is the latest in the Chitwood classics. The list includes, but is not limited to: not passing deputy refresher; hiring the same company that hired the Pulse night club shooter to provide security at the courthouse, the numerous bicycle incidents; the SWAT call where he had to be saved. The list is endless (and growing each and every day).

What is next? Rumor has it that the Sheriff is going to try and stop Trick or Treating by making the complaint that the trick or treaters are soliciting door to door without a permit.

Way to get the community in an uproar over a national holiday Sheriff.....

He can try it again in about six months for July Fourth. There will be a ton of fireworks then too. What a clown and a joke we have.

I think somebody probably had their milk money taken away from them in school and had sand kicked in their face repeatedly at the beach. How else do you account for his epic struggles against folks shooting fireworks.
