I just read the latest from Volusia Exposed. I do not think a Pay Raise is needed if a deputy can spend $200, Cell Phones, etc to female drug Court individuals. What gives?

There is a rumor going around that the $92,000 that was going to pay for the "use of force" policy revision (or whatever it is called) is going to be used to give us raises instead!!!!!!

Just read the article in the News Journal about the union and the pay issue. Brody hit the problem on the head.....almost 50 vacancies....more leaving every day. And Sheriff Chitwood does not think there is a problem. Way to look out for us.

The News Journal article said there are about 20 possible applications from VCSO deputies going to Seminole County. I wonder how many Seminole County deputies are coming here????? Probably zero...due to pay and LEADERSHIP.
