If your a PO you know this report is all lies.
No arrest in your own jurisdiction
No bolo
No future attempt to arrest
All BS... yet another pattern of retaliation

But he goes to Monroe County and does a misdemeanor arrest 😳

According to a June 2012 police report, Civilian Investigative Panel (CIP) member Danny Suarez ran into Miami Fraternal Order of Police President Javier Ortiz outside the nightclub Sugar, threatened to get Ortiz fired, obstructed a traffic stop, and — when Ortiz ordered Suarez to get out of his friend's car — ran away from the scene of the crime. Ortiz and Suarez, both well-known public figures in the city, have interacted many times in the five years since. But Ortiz has never arrested Suarez for allegedly running away from him in 2012.

First time Ortiz refuses to give a comment when asked Why didn't he arrest Mr Suarez

if he told the driver to flee than he would also be subject to arrest, looks like someone has a long pattern of false reports and lies......

So Ortiz is clearly a lightening rod for screw ups. But lets face it. Suarez didnt commit a crime, other than maybe "Threats or coercion of a LEO". So if he left the scene while his friend was driving, he didnt flee. He may have been being a loudmouth drunk who was abusing a LE verbally. And as he is in a position within local govt, it would be appropriate to document the incident. If it wasnt put over the radio right away due to a K9 search that is also appropriate.

This kid Suarez is a little dipsh!t. Ive had a few words with him. He has made complaints against officers for doing things as minor as smoking a cigar on duty. Can you imagine how petty you have to be to be so bothered by a cigar, you do the following.

You observe the violation.
You wait three days later.
You drive to the IA building.
You park, go to the elevator, go up a few floors. Then wait to speak to an investigator.
You give a recorded verbal complaint to an investigator.
Then reverse all those steps.

For a cigar.

You could have just called his Sgt. Wanna be cop with a bad driving record.

You see those are the minor problems that people think later on they can get away with big ones.

The incident was documented because Ortiz has a long history of complaints and disputes with the CIP. This report was done for security reason and its being use today, "To smear!" A free get out of jail card.

If I do a report I will follow up with an arrest or a least a complaint to the CIP or IA on Mr Suarez.

I've been on several years and during a K9 search if you have a priority it's no problem to get on the radio and say what you got worst case you change channels.

As for making a complaint on people smoking cigars on duty that's been out of hand since the Roque days. You can find Chief Llanes today or any day mon thru Friday from 1600-1830 smoking a cigar by his car. He loves that stuff of people coming up to him and kiss his ring. Que clase de come pinga

Yes for some people being next to someone smoking a cigar is annoying especially if you go to a house of someone that called 911. Not to mention it's against DO's.

Ortiz we want to know how you went down to the keys looking for a trespasser pulled your gun out and took him out of car in plain clothes but some guys that live in the city used racial slurs against you while you were in uniform fled from you and you did nothing?

Or was this going to be an arrest if he made a complaint?

Yeah like the same way the report magically appear in the attorneys file. 🤣👌
Danny go to records ask to see who and when they pulled the report.
When a report is printed it shows time, date and who requested it.
Javi why didn't you arrest Mr Suarez?
Why didn't you make a CIP complaint on him?
