Hey Y'all,
go to MGPD, get about 3-9 months of experience and then go to the county, or BSO... MG has been a training grounds for other agencies for the past few years. Everyone knows that if you spend 3 months at MG, you will have handled every type of call there is. Guaranteed....So, Why stay at a Dept where you are not be appreciated and taken care of? And where you will make less than a real dept, like MDPD, even BSO? and you will be overworked, and burnt out, and be careful because someone will try to write you up for something silly like not having your coban on, even when it's not working? Take it from me.... I left after a short year there....
