Will be a total shock if the SAO does anything at all. Historically, they find no wrongdoing by LEOs in these types of cases. Name the last time this Circuit did anything to prosecute a cop for use of force violations.

On the other hand, this could be a way to punish the "retirees" who supervised this criminal act and are complicit in its commission.

784.05 Culpable negligence.—
(1) Whoever, through culpable negligence, exposes another person to personal injury commits a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
(2) Whoever, through culpable negligence, inflicts actual personal injury on another commits a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.

"DEFINITION OF CULPABLE NEGLIGENCE
As defined under Florida case law and the Florida Standard Jury Instructions, “Culpable Negligence” is a course of conduct showing reckless disregard for human life, or for the safety of persons exposed to its dangerous effects, or such an entire want of care as to raise a presumption of conscious indifference to consequences, or which shows wantonness, recklessness, or a grossly careless disregard for the safety and welfare of others.

Under Section 784.05, Florida Statutes, the crime of Culpable Negligence consists of two elements: (1) the accused exposed a person to personal injury or inflicted personal injury on that person, and (2) the accused did so with “culpable negligence.”

Hillary got away with worse. There was more press coverage. Nocco is politically connected too.

So does anyone know has ANYTHING been done in this case? I haven't seen anything since the story of the state attorney looking into it? Is the corporal who shot the inmate, still employed? And is he still a corporal?

Yes he is, as is the Corporal that was involved in the incident, and who falsified his supplemental report.
