Just wondering when i pass the academy how long it will take me to be an undercover cop in narcotics unit. Do i have to do different kind of training? Im excited to do this! About to be in the academy!!

Pass the academy and FTO program first. Then worry about getting out of patrol. It depends on your race and if you male or female. If you have family or friends in place here. If your white FORGET it. Your only chance then, if you make it to supervisor, you might have a shot. Miami staff believe, know one will sell to a white guy, cause you might be a cop, so they rarely select a white officer, unless he connected.
