It was the city commission and manager that tried to get rid of us the first time. The citizens of the city are the ones that stood up for us and kept us blue.

They have paired down our senior command who stood up for us last time. Two spoke against it because they did not want to lose their pension. As did another who was a bartow native that did not want to lose their pension to. Another has since passed away that spoke for his daughter. The support is not ther like it was.
