Just saw what was probably a rookie standing between her unit and the rear of a disabled car in traffic.

Doesnt anyone tell you people not to do that so you wont get sandwiched between the cars when some idiot or drunk runs into your parked unit.

Had two friends seriously injured when their unit was hit by a drunk and another was cut in half.

That is the least of my worries, if you were out on the road working with them you would freak.

They walk away from suspects with their backs turned, stand with firearm exposed to bad guy, fail to use a safe reactionary gap....on and on. Hell the FTOs don't know what there doing, how can the rookies. If a car hits them it is on them, but the bad guy taking their gun scenario scares the living shizt out of me and it seems no one cares anymore.

It's because they're firing or forcing out everyone with experience. They didn't like how those with experienced voiced opinions for the greater good of the agency, coworkers and the citizens and they made them targets until they could find a way to get rid of them. The administration has absolutely no clue what they're doing and they don't care. "Conduct Unbecoming" and "Careless Disregard" is their favorite and the FOP sits back doing nothing.

Just for those who couldn't cut it being a deputy. Seems like the FOP and Sheriff are on the same page. Must be you who is lost.

Yours was the dumbest comment Ive read on these boards. Well done. How does it feel to be simply clueless?

The administration is all smoke and mirrors with the goal to make themselves look good, fool the public and spend money like drunken sailors and anyone with a smidgen of real world law enforcement experience can see it from a mile away.

You dont why again?

Couldnt cut it being a deputy? Who in command are you talking about? Oh and from some of the work Ive seen from their chosen ones quite a few couldnt cut it as real deputies and should give thanks every night theyre protected.

Been there brother and have seen the unqualified allow people access to weapons, completely unable to make a simple arrest, conduct a decent investigation or an interview. Although being concerned keeps you sharp and going home every shift its completely inexcusable to have to suffer with them. Went to a burglary in progress baoncking up one and he entered and cleared the house alone not waiting. Told him dont do it again and a short time later he got taken hostage in a domestic. Oh well.

You are absolutely correct.

But what do you expect when the leadership has no current real world experience?
