When will MGPD start hiring non certified officers again?

Could be awhile until the city accepts apps for non-certified candidates. The city is looking to save money by hiring applicants alreddy certified. The city of Miami Pd and FHP have tons of officers applying to other departments, so the city finds it more feasible to grab some bodies from those departments. I would recommend applying to FHP or Department of corrections...get certified...get vested in the retirement, and then come on over when spots open up. Miami PD is losing a record number of officers so you can apply there , get hired on, get your experience, and apply here. Your chances for hire will increase by being certified by any department. Miami-Dade PD is looking for non-certified officers. They have multiple academy coming up for 2016 for non-certified officers.
