This shows that other departments know how to do what's right. Meanwhile back in Miramar we have csi smart water L OH ****!ng L. And a burglary task force in marked units SRO's. COMEDY!,,, this administration is clueless.

MIRAMAR (CBSMiami) – Four Miramar men charged in two burglaries are thought to be responsible for dozens in South Florida.
Detectives with the the Broward Sheriff’s “Burglary Apprehension Team” (BAT) made several connections in the burglaries and focused their attention on 26-year old Dontowan Owens and three others. In a joint operation with the Coral Springs PD BEAR unit and the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office BAT, investigators watched as the men went to various neighborhoods searching for potential targets, expensive homes in luxury communities.
After four days of surveillance on Saturday, July 11th, detectives watched as Owens smashed a rear sliding glass door on a home at 4925 NW 106th Avenue in Coral Springs around 1 a.m., according to his arrest report. He along with three others identified as Anthony Myers, 26; Roshan Brown, 25 and 24-year old Jamar Lewis allegedly then entered the home and left several minutes later.
Detectives say Owens and company were also observed breaking into a home at 1062 NW 49th Street in Coral Springs.
Police pulled the men over near 6001 Coral Ridge Drive where they were arrested. The men had a crow bar, gloves and screwdrivers in their car as well as the expensive jewelry which they had just stolen, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
Owens is currently on felony probation and has three felony convictions. He is listed as a violent offender and has a history of burglaries and grand theft.
Myers is on felony probation and has nine felony convictions with a long history for burglary unoccupied conveyance, unoccupied dwelling, grand theft, grand theft auto and larceny. Brown has a history of numerous burglaries and strong armed robbery with a weapon.

In other news PRIME made sure the 55 others had supper and were tucked into bed. Good job BSO, PBSO and Coral Springs.

Why does your juvenile team checkers need so much tactical gear? Unsure if they're serving warrants or checking on career criminals that are underage? And you guys have a burglary team but we never see them or link up with them?? Well like the shi little city you are good luck riding in our wake. I guess nature does depicts real human life also. They look like cops have uniforms like cops, but ohhhh they have no bite, it's all show! Hey good luck little guy's hope you make it 1 day.

Thank you for belittling us but we have no control over this command staff mentality

Our prime unit is a joke. Crime is through the roof in Miramar. That story was nothing but propaganda. The east side of the city is a war zone. The Sro's some 28 of them do nothing but sit together smoking & joking while the city suffers with crime. Prime/safe streets only work m-Thursday off fri and weekends. Great gig huh.

Now the union wants the city to raise taxes to give them a raise. Wtf

We still have a command staff that was home grown with a small sleepy town mentality. We are far from that now and crime is rampant no matter the bs fudged statistics Sanchez puts out in a flyer. The gloves need to come off and let this place be a real police department but not under this lack of leadership.

When will any of you grow a sack and stand up for your own? Maybe a few but you all as a whole will never accomplish anything. Your Leadership can only do so much and will never stick their own job out for your sake, so why would you. Unless you gather your worthless little ramblings and do something about it. Until then STFU. This is a place for funny gossip not this whiny baby crap. Ohh how does that wake taste?? Expecting some comebacks but just know with all your typing I AM RIGHT!

Everyone can say what they want about whoever is keeping this place on life support. The one thing is clear and known to everyone here now and left for greener pastures. The vast majority of people here are qualified and capable to do this job and keep this community safe.

Having said that I will not blame those who are in any unit, patrol or a few Command staff who clearly are are in shutdown mode. Having no faith in supervisors in command including the two at the top who have no idea what this job requires. When City Hall wakes up and cleans house they will then see what a real Law Enforcement Agency works like. Until then people will not risk their lives or careers for incompetent chiefs who are racially and politically motivated, those who have been appointed who have failed FTO and probationary periods but were still retained and clearly not intelligent enough to lead people who have more raw street experience and demonstrate they can run circles around them blindfolded.

Until then, enjoy the A/C and keep collecting the checks and don't forget to pray for the people who live in what has become the worst city to live and work in in the Tri-County area thanks to City Hall and the Chiefs we are stuck with.

They are only doing what goofy RB and Mentor DW are telling them. RB copied this idea from a book and another agency so he thinks it will work. When we get back to restoring our good reputation on the streets and in other agencies for arresting and catching thugs like we used to criminals will keep coming to Miramar since they know the cops here could care less about crime.
