I argued that Asset Forfeiture was legalized theft up to the day I retired. My RAIC threatened to send me to NYC. But then he realized that with me gone there would only be "Junior" Agents left and no one to do his work and make him look good.

I once got so fed up with where I was assigned that I VOLUNTEERED to go to NYC. Those Powers-that-were decided to send me to Washington. I ended up in WFO with an assignment that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Appreciate your honesty in these type matters, but how in the world a fed gets up and serves the masters they serve is beyond me. Feds are the criminals and i don't say this lightly, it's very sad, but true.
