Alaska, Arizona, Vermont, Wyoming and Kansas (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/04/03/kansas-to-allow-residents-to-carry-concealed-guns-without-permit/) allow residents to carry a concealed weapon without a license.

And now Ohio may be the next state to allow anyone 21 or older, who is not otherwise banned from having a firearm, to carry a concealed gun without a permit. It prevents law enforcement officers from conducting searches and seizures, based on a person's carrying or possessing a firearm.

This is the latest effort among state lawmakers across the nation to challenge federal gun laws after President Obama vowed, and failed, to strengthen federal gun laws.
