The last BPD deputy chief was fired and is already in hot water with the SAO, so why would BPD select someone who has a criminal history for battery (against a father) and domestic battery (against a x42.5)? BPD is trying to simmer things down and they don't need 1st, 2nd or 3rd degree Burns!
