To the tune of (The old rugged cross)
In a police department close by stood an old rugged Shreder and logs
My emblem of suffering and shame
And I love that old rugged Shreder and logs
For a world of lost careers was slain

So I'll cherish that old rugged Shreder and logs
Till my depositions I lay down at last
I will cling to that old rugged Shreder and logs

Oh, that old rugged Shreder and logs so despised my me
Has a deposition all attraction for me
For those who bear my torture
To bear it to glory

In that old rugged Shreder and logs stained with careers of so many
T'was on that old rugged shredder and logs so many careers suffered and died
To promote and sanctify me

To the old rugged Shreder and logs I will ever lie
It's shame and reproach I will pray on you
Then I'll be called to a jail far away
Where his glory for ever I have shreded
