Take Home Policy

I was wondering if your department has Take Home cars? And if do, what is the mile limit from the city.

No take home cars. You have to load a vehicle, inspect, clean, have calls holding, all the time. The worst fleet of vehicles I ever seen. They don't change the brakes when is recommended and quite often you have to switch vehicles during your regular hours because of vehicle issues. This is called a normaol practice and waste of man hours at the taxpayer's expense. If you get into an accident due to a vehicle malfunction, make sure you let your family know so they can collect $$$$$ due to such negligence.

Take home policy like in police cruisers? You kidding me...I don't even take home my flashlight and statue book!
