Now, even under normal circumstances the possibility of a guy like Dennis Jackson being promoted from Sergeant to Major, and placed in charge of a District headquarters even in the Miami Police Department, would have been considered almost impossible.

The US Justice Department has been breathing down the back of the Chief to appoint “educated, well rounded and experienced supervisors” to these senior ranks, and Jackson failed to meet any of those criteria or accomplishments as part of his resume.

For years, Jackson had been assigned to the Property Room, where the only thing he supervised was a pencil, and the only experience he acquired was moving property items to and from shelves without hurting himself.

The reason that Jackson was exiled to the Property Room was that back in the day he had done something that in most police department would have resulted in his being fired.

You see, Dennis “Lexus” Jackson acquired that nickname “Lexus” because back in 1997, he purchased a stolen 1995 Lexus SC400 for $4000.

Sadly rules governing equity and earning your way do not apply to Jackson and his ilk. Sadly and irrespective of race or ethnicity, the Miami Police Department has a history of promoting individuals who did not earned the way up the ranks nor were ready for prime time.

The interesting thing is that all you HATERS continue to talk trash and try to discredit a good person, just because you didnt get promoted. Keep talking because its a known fact, every time you open your mouth, my boy keeps getting elevated. Listen, we all know about the story and all you're doing is beating a dead horse. Anything new? Dude relax, you had your opportunity and they didn't want you. So now tell me what the hell you're going to say when he get promoted this time. You're a grown man acting like a child, get a fu***** life.......
