Colonel H. Neil Kirkman would have nailed their balls to the wall.....oops, can't do that to the "ex" Sergeant. He did not take kindly to that type of activity, and a lot of all white Troopers back then felt his wrath. Seismographs all over the southeast are probably recording him spinning in his grave over what his beloved Florida Highway Patrol has evolved into.

Having sex on duty in Florida is a felony and will get your certification revoked, at least it supposed to. As far as I am concerned they just set precedence on this for everyone, black, white or hispanic.

Having sex on duty in Florida is a felony and will get your certification revoked, at least it supposed to. As far as I am concerned they just set precedence on this for everyone, black, white or hispanic.

I'm not sure if there is a specific statute that could be used to prosecute sex on duty, but you're right in that it is a certificate-revocable offense by CJSTC.

Just because one trooper (witness) says she saw a video and someone was in uniform doesn't mean you can prove sex on duty. If that was the case, all anyone would have to do is make a claim that they saw something and you could get fired. That doesn't work. I'm sure they probably had sex on duty or at least wearing a uniform but you need more than one persons statement.

I'm sure the crack team of investigators from OIG exhausted every lead and got to the very bottom of this case. OIG Is well known for their thorough investigations----like they one they did in Troop L with the Lieutenant running the massive ODPE scam...... :roll:
