I'm so glad you don't work here. Rest assured SI will end up being one of the best sheriff's we have had in 30 years. Bet on it. The county commissioners (all civilians by the way) have no idea what we need and would rather see the Deputies suffer. Too bad. Hope they realize they are wrong. Commission did not slap Sheriff at all. After a bit of political posturing by two in particular (Ritter and LaMarca), they all said it was the Sheriff's budget and he could do as he saw fit.
