Hey guys, whoever applies for the Chief of Police job at South Miami needs to see a psychiatrist. The SMPD is not toxic, it is the entire city administration and elected officials. Just look at the tenure of the city managers and chiefs of police, never more than 2.5 years. 3-5 years is the norm for chiefs and city managers everywhere. And if it is the head honchos who get the ax. Lowly police officers who don't do stupid on a regular basis, last forever. And your right, OMC needs a shrink big time. Has for decades and decades.

So Landa is the interim chief. How long before he is out? The manager isn't going to keep him around for long. Soon we will have another chief going through the revolving doors at the police department. Word is the manager is already looking for replacements.

?????!!!!! omg , u havent seen opalocka pd, opa locka make smpd look like disney world. case in point, lt.hernandez in order to save himself back stabbed three of his former friends that use to work together at hialeah gardens police. also at opalocka thr is this new deputy chief by name of vega , real pos , use to be at miami pd, his reputation followed him. treats employees at opa locka like shit , and chief key lets it happen turning away. come on know :evil:
