On the other hand, Mayor Carlos Hernandez produced several porno flicks during his movie production career. In Hialeah, every political blow is always followed by a similar one or an even harder one.

The day after El Nuevo Herald ran a story about Juan Santana, a candidate for Hialeah city mayor who filmed the verbal attack against him from a former police officer close to Hialeah mayor Carlos Hernández, authorities revealed that his wife was arrested nearly two years ago for stealing a public electrical post that was cut in half so that it could be transported in a car.

Santana’s wife, Jessica Montanez, 27, was arrested together with Jonathan Román, 25, the night of Aug. 16, 2011, after placing half of an aluminum post in the trunk of a Nissan Sentra and the other half through the sliding roof of the small car.

“Stealing metal and scrap metal is a national epidemic. However, we had never seen a case as daring as this one,” said Carl Zogby, a spokesman for Hialeah’s Police Department. “We had never seen anyone loading a post cut to pieces in a passenger car. “How could they think that no one would notice?”

The incident came to light in the wake of a political controversy in Hialeah after revealing the videotaped by Santana in which former police officer Glenn Rice mocks the candidacy of Santana, a disabled 30-year-old who weighs nearly 500 pounds.

Montanez told El Nuevo Herald briefly that when the police stopped her, an officer asked her if she was linked to Santana. When she said that she was, the officer proceeded to arrest her, Montanez said.

However, the police report of the arrest indicates that on that occasion Montanez admitted to the police that she had helped Román load the parts of the post in the Nissan.

The document released by the police also indicates that Montanez, who lives with Santana in West Hialeah, gave Román the ride in exchange for the price of gas.

When he arrived at the 10th block of Hialeah Drive, Román began to cut with a power saw the post, which the report says is worth $4,800. The document adds that Román told the police that he expected to get about $200 from selling the parts of the post as raw material.

Santana said that Montanez — whom he married five years ago —went to pick up Román the night of the incident because he was a friend “who was going through difficult times.”

“We have a very big heart and my wife went to pick him up,” Santana said. “She didn’t take the post. In fact, her case was dismissed. She is my wife and I am with her and the fact is that authorities found that she was not to blame.”

Zogby said that Román was jailed for violating parole. In the case of Montanez an extrajudicial agreement was reached after she committed to take part in a rehabilitation program.

Santana said that releasing the information about Montanez’s case was part of a campaign to discredit him for his decision to run for mayor.

“All this is political retaliation,” Santana said. “I am an open book and all I want is to serve the people of Hialeah.”

Both Hialeah mayor Hernández and police chief Sergio Velazquez have denied that there is any harassment against Santana because of his political candidacy.

Velazquez has said that in April the license plate of the Nissan — the same vehicle used to move the post — was seized because it had expired in June 2012. The plate was taken by a female police officer and was taped by Santana with a tiny camera resembling an earphone.

Hernández said that the stolen electrical post is “an incredible case.”

“The photos of that crime speak volumes about Santana and the people close to him,” Hernández said.

Hmm makes me wonder did she write that down on her application to the school board, or did she not mention it at all which is still lying anyways. What would the parents think if they found our their child's teacher was a stripper.

The Rock made a decision to send Glenn Rice to Juan Santana's house in order to harrass him therefore it's fair game. As an old timer is it true or not true that Nancy was stripper that he picked up at Treasure Island. Old timer is it true or not true that Sergio Velazquez wives were strippers. The only difference here is that Sergio's wife worked at Porky's. Old timer it is what it is.
