When a shooting happens in the liberty city area, the brass crosses their fingers and hopes the media doesn't make a big deal about it. The city does not contact reporters, set up a command post, or call the newspaper. When a miami politician is facing criminal charges, the mayor does not sit down and give interviews calling his administration corrupt. You have to ask yourself why the miami herald was outside of internal affairs like the paparazzi, ready to smear the paper with pictures of the 1% of corrupt city cops. Its all part of a political reelection campaign to fool the public into thinking the chief and the mayor are cleaning up the department. You never see any brass or city official giving the media a heads up on anything relating to the sewer of political corruption in miami. You have to ask why when the FOP or Al crespo do a public records request it takes days, weeks or months the get the info, channel 7 had the arrest reports within hours. Why hasn't the news been given the heads up about internal affairs investigators being fired for witness tampering? Why haven't the Feds looked into miami cooking stats? Why Hasn't corrupt to the core mayor Tomas regalado been arrested for campaign fraud? What is the difference between stealing tax refunds and stealing tax dollars Mr. 'Mayor? It is all a front and the public is fooled while the Feds do nothing. I REPEAT WHAT IS 130,000 DOLLARS STOLEN BY 1% OF CORRUPT POLICE OFFICERS AS OPPOSED TO 45 MILLION STOLEN BY 99% OF MIAMI CITY HALL OFFICIALS. YOU HAVE CORRUPT CITY OFFICIALS SO YOU WILL HAVE CORRUPT EMPLOYEES!

Its sickening to see what was once a highly respected police department turned into a political agenda machine. Whats going on now will have a ripple effect for years to come with the hiring and promoting of unqualified friends and family, and continued missmanagement.
Whats also sad is the FBI and only hope to stop this is part of the smoke and mirrors that will help Regalado get re-elected. Its not just 45million missmanaged, drive around the city its hudreds of millions of dollar not including the fat pensions for those within the circle that will profit.

Buddy join the club, aren't we all fed up. Just ride the wave, Miami will always be a banana republic. When Suarez win, if he wins it will get worse and worse it part of the banana. Every new mayor always comes in and brings the great city from dump to dumpster. Ride the wave.

Crespo the second part of this is sgt. Rolando Davis lied on his memo to the state attorneys office that he released the property. The director of the property unit Jay Polen ( s civilian but out ranks Sgts and Lts) refused to release the evidence saying that it can only be the arresting officer. Rolando was ordered by his commander to stay out of it so Rolando had the Major of the north district Keith Cunningham order property to release the phone. ( now you have the chiefs staff involved in a felony as well. ) the phone contained name dates and times of all the officers involved in the north end barbershop protection ring. It would have implicated other staff members and black officers. When carpenter found out about the memo he called major colina of IA his ex coconut grove NET commander. Colina who immediately said we need to keep this handled in house so IA and the Chief would not be embarrassed. Now you have IA covering up a felony. What you can request is the chain of custody receipt from property
