I see Miramar has had an continuous posting for months now for the Law Enforcement Officer position. I just wanted to ask if they were really hiring? I am actively looking to get hired in the coming months.

Miramar is hiring but please keep in mind and understand the conditions you are signing up for. Please don't get hired and immediately request some sort of change to your pension tier. You will be in tier 2, which by all account is still an amazing pension especially during this tumultuous economic climate. Ask questions and don't be brainwashed with any conspiracy theories and "us vs them" state of minds.

How long can the process take once one completes the Bpad? I know to get your results it takes a few weeks, but what about after that?

I heard from several "somebodys" that a merger is in the works anyway. That would be great.
