Two more experienced personnel from the Broward Sheriff’s Fire Division were asked to follow Fire Chief and Executive Director Neal de Jesus out the door before Sheriff-Elect Scott Israel’s administration takes over Jan. 8.

They are the fire marshal, Division Chief Robert Arrighetti, and Division Chief John Holgerson, who was in charge of fire and rescue training.*

Arrighetti joined BSO in 1987 as a firefighter/paramedic, the agency’s website says. He served in special operations on the hazardous materials team and, since 1997, was a fire prevention officer within the Fire Marshal’s Bureau, it states.

Holgerson has three decades’ experience.* He worked in numerous national and international rescue and recovery efforts, the agency said, and has consulted on rescue and fire training and disaster management for various countries and in the U.S.

Don't worry Scotty we run this now!!! Al days are over, let him cry for a few more hours and get over his denial... now he can finally feel what it is like to be affected himself after he screwed up detention and affected hundreds of lowest salary making hardest working deputies on the front line, while making the rich richer (his buddies) and giving them chance to tripple dip. This should be criminal and illegal and ofcourse he is untouchable... Ur days are over AL, pack ur crap up and get out from our agency. Scott Israel is a true leader and actually cares about bso, all of its employees and the public. Congrattts Scotty!!! I cannot be happier to work for BSO now...

Counting the chaplain and these two fire pros, Scott Israel's email hit list is now at 31.* Add to that the 41 people who were told to resign and more than 70 people are being booted out of BSO to make room for Israel's cronies.* As for politics, they were loyal to their boss.* Period.

Actually folks, this is what THE PUBLIC should do to all government officials. *Give them a run, then vote them OUT. *Governement is too big and too connected to each other. *Vote Out Incumbents. *They get fat, lazy and etched in stone with their old ways. *Treat em like a football team. *No results? *Out. *(Yes I mean the Dolphins too)*

You're correct Paradox1. *It's about politics - and they played the wrong political game. *Perhaps they shoud have just done their jobs and stayed away from political theatrics?

As usual it's not about ability and dedication!* It's about politics and political paybacks!* Two well respected professionals being replaced because they are not Politically "Israel" Correct!
