I honestly dont feel bad for him..I am a right wing Republican and he was not acting like a Republican these last few years anyway. the reason he lost the election is because he lost the support of his troops and as the article mentioned he acted untouchable. The article mentioned he never fired his weapon like that is some sort of badge of honor and attackedIsrael for using force when Israel work in Fort Lauderdale... I would rather work for sure if that used force and faced down real bad guys... Lamberty then surrounded himself with command staff that had never used force in police work either and tried to lead the department with antiquated business models that are used over at IBM and other white collar jobs. sheriff Israel said it best himself when he said you cannot have a deer leading a pack of lions. We are in the business of dealing with evil as witness by the horrific shootings of children movie theaters in malls I do not need somebody leading me that has never fired their weapon.. I will not be critiqued and micromanaged by command staff that has never used force.. mister Lamberti you may have spent a career in the uniform but we are now about to be led by a real cop and his name is Scott Israel

One more thing...the locking of the Sheriff elect out of his future office should forever tarnish you ...not congratulating him because he didnt call you four years ago is not leadership..its kindergarten..get out of the way and let this great department get to work without you.

Honestly, that is the stupidest reply I have ever read.

We have all fired our guns hundreds of times at the range. Does that count? If you meant never fired their guns to stop a crime/criminal then write it that way. How many of us do you think have actually been in a shoot out situation? While it may be getting more prevalent in today's crazy times, it remains a relatively rare occurrence.

Old admin - I know at least Rick Frey was in a shootout as was Tony Varona and Rick Reilly. Do your research before you make those critical statements.

You are right about using business models for law enforcement. We do not have a product line that we can drop when it becomes unpopular with the masses. We have to remain fluid based on public opinion, news comments and crime trending across the world (used to be nation). Try getting a bottom line statement on that criteria. Doesn't work. BSO has a unique opportunity to rise again as a leader and innovator in law enforcement. New ideas, techniques and spirited advancements are ours for the taking. You go, Team Israel!

What is with this Lamberti. He moans and cries more that an adolescent young male, as if his lunch money was taken from him while standing in line at the elementary cafeteria. Look back on his many Colonels’ and Lt. Colonel's he placed who then left. He denied the young men and women of the BSO of pay raises and then brings in many retired friends giving lucrative salaries and benefits and creates positions for his own political attacks upon politicians and employees.

Even more disgraceful was his relationship with Ponzi scammer Rothstein and after his EXO, Dave Benjamin targeting many good employees and the FBI comes a knocking, he claims no relationship or knowledge.

The programs he claims he started, pill mills investigations, pill buy backs and many more were not his ideas. They have been around for many years and were designed by Ken Jenne.

I'll give him this one program and only one, Free Coffee with the Sheriff in jurisdictions that have their own police departments.

Leave your badge, ID card and county vehicle keys on the desk because you have done nothing that had impressed anyone. All those years of experience and little to show for it Mr. Lamberti, that’s the cold truth.

Of course I dont consider fireing a gun at the range as using his weapon...What are YOU thinking is more like it...and thanks for mentioning a Colonel that retired two years ago Dr Jekyl...

One more thing Mr. Lamberti...that whore your supporter hired to ruin Sheriff Israels marriage and childrens lives on You Tube is actually what will tarnish you forever...Ken Jenne went to prison and is still a better man then you after that...now show some tact and tell that woman to take her porn video down
