The general public needs to understand that if Probation is privatized, Probation Officers will be evaluated on how much Cost of Supervision they collect. Those monies will come before Court Costs; they will come even before victim restitution. GEO will come before victims. Count on it!

O.C. MAN you must have hit some strong coffee posting 3 times. For my Circuit and I will assume Region in 1990 COS came first. (period) For me I wanted $31.40 a month and I had no reason to care if Court Costs or Restitution was ever paid. If they paid the COS and at term owed any money WE did a letter to the Judge "Reducing Moneys to a Judgement Lien". I can not tell you how many Offenders paid COS over a 30 month period while the Victim got nothing. But, of course something changed and Monetary Obligations were prioritized. Rightfully so. In our county the Salvation Army runs Misd. Probation and they want their COS FEES. In addition to the County Contract this paid for staff, rent and utilities. It simply is the proper Business Model you dont put yourself out of a Job.

You dont see the Judges, States Attorneys or Law Enforcement coming to Community Corrections Defense BUT more importantly you dont see DC MANAGEMENT coming to our defense. Never really liked the saying from the newer officers but, "It is what it is!"

It looks like obama is putting US lives in the gutter in Afghanistan in order to please his muslim buddies and he ignored pleas for help in Libya while our Seals and Ambassador were being murdered and has lied about it. Wonder who is paying him off. Also, who killed the Border Agent on the Mexican border. Obama is making **** Cheney look like a Choirboy!

But, Obama is being promoted in circuit 1 under the leadership of democrat staff!!!!

Church Organization in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Other Isolated Areas


The Church tries to provide opportunities for members to participate in sacrament services and have access to priesthood leaders wherever they are serving throughout the world. In Iraq and Afghanistan, branches or groups have been organized at most locations where Church members are stationed. Diplomats, civilian workers, and humanitarian volunteers are generally able to attend Church services at military installations depending on security concerns and civilian accessibility to the military bases.

Priesthood leaders should contact Military Relations if service members in their stakes or districts are preparing to deploy or if their members will be working for contractors in Iraq or Afghanistan.
