I would wait until AFTER the election then you can figure out if you need to be related to the current sheriff to work there...that's how it is or unless you have dirt on him then you can run the department from the sidelines...just saying. Good luck in your job search.

Is it really that bad? I was reading on some of the other post and I read something about staffing problems. is this true, or do your department just have a high turn over rate?
