I recently received an e-mail from PBA that said there was going to be a vote on the contract next week. Has anyone else gotten this email? When are we going to find out what management has proposed to shove down our throats? Has anyone heard or know about the status of the fire department contract that still has not been ratified? I mean if we are being forced to accept another year of BS step increase only and the FD continues to get their steps plus COLA then we need to know. I'm sick and tired of the disparity between the 8 step FD plan that ends at $71,000+ and our BS 13 step plan that ends at $59,427! (We havent gotten to the $60,889 step yet for those of you that will say our step plan ends at $60,889). Can someone please tell me if there will be a follow up email so i know what I'm voting for?
