Nice to have a break.

Not wanting to get off in a different direction but there were some officers whom felt that the incumbent was going to yet pull it off again in Nov.

Some food for thought in the meantime.

1) Granted the vote results were in the favor of him. But do not allow aggregated results be interpreted erroneously. First among those voting for him were voters not wanting to vote for either of the other two that were running. WHATEVER the reason, a percentage is there. Secondly think how the average voter thinks who doesn't know the facts as you do. Third the response was for his party only. The voters who voted were restricted in whom they had a choice to vote for. Who is to say that of those in that party, if the limitated were to be lifted (as in the general election) what percentage of those would vote across party affiliations? Remember the voting public has had enough of the democrats this term. What is interesting is the responses and posts of various FB pages, of those complaining about "democrat candidates NOT supporting the party" And they are crying foul that the remaining candidates are swinging their support over to MC. Really? Lets remind everyone that SW is NOT a true democrat, (check out voters registrations in FL and GA prior to him running) He is a republican in Democrat clothing. He switched to the other team in order to run against Ronnie for two reasons. 1) he knew he could not beat Ronnie in the same party. 2) the Democrat party was gaining huge support due to the weary politics of the prior admins all across the country. So his timing was crucial to his choice. But make no mistake, he is what he is.

2) there is always the "anti" vote. SW won the first time around because of an anti Ronnie vote. But his margin wall extremely thin. A matter of just a few votes. Which goes to illustrate that you MUST have every single person you know VOTE in the general. It could come down to a few votes again. In a county the size of Hendry, mere numbers of a small amount of votes sway these elections. SO educate your friends, families, and inner circles to vote him out. Look at the two candidates webpages and compare. It is NOT apples vs apples, and there is a huge disparity in the results.

3) MORE people vote in the General election than primaries. Always have. Given the amounts in preceding years and the history of voting trends, if we were SW we would be terrified at this point. And for good reason. This race is an absolute recreation of the race in 2008 against Ronnie Lee. Literally he has resorted to all the tactics that Ronnie did and that SW made fun of. Paying for sign holders, Literally going house to house in Harlem telling the elderly WHO to vote for and basically strongarming them. The only diffference in this race, is replace Ronnie with him. His contender however is the variable. Whereas the first time around, SW could poo poo everything Ronnie said because he was a fresh faced first timer and could say and claim anything, he can no longer do that. He made outlandish claims that Ronnie attacked and for good reason. They could not be carried through.

4) We are glad he got his "accreditation" What the beauty is here is that now it is in place, the required "Reports" that need to be filed monthly, quarterly, etc are now public record. Now those reports can be disputed to show non compliance very easily and will be. Super D KNEW this all too well and thus the reason he was so vocal against it. Citizen intervention into the organization scares the crap out of him. But his bosses Mumbles and WS don't know and therefore allowed it to come to reality. Super D although in history made some bad choices, this time hit the nail on the head. Excellent!

5) The campaigns at this point were very subdued. Make no mistake that it will not be in the future weeks to come. His supporters and his ties are soon to become poster fodder.

This is just a minor inkling of whats to come. REMEMBER to educate and motivate everyone in to vote! This is not insurmountable nor is it tied up as SW would like to preach to everyone. That is an age old propaganda tactic.

Be safe and Be strong!

SW is relying on the large number of Democrats registered in the county but if you look at the Republicans and the "Others" (IND / NPA, etc.) combined, the numbers are close. What he may be choosing to ignore is the number of Democrat votes that he did not get in the Primary. Most of those will continue to vote against him and as more Republicans and others do some research on MC, they will get on board and stay there.

Republicans will show up in massive numbers this year and there is still time to continue to register more of them before the General Election. The Anti-Obama faction cannot be ignored nor can the fact that SW has lost tons of votes in Harlem, Montura, Pioneer and Clewiston. Port LaBelle is a toss-up so this leaves him with LaBelle and Felda, will that be enough?

All excellent points, one last thing not to be overlooked ...the concept that the"'s ws pulled were to quote a deputy overheard the "spent wad". Meaning good luck rallying much more that what you mustered in the primary loser. Less than 3 months and not enough made up headlines for the Sunday news to sway a cou  nty wide.
