What prevents you from implementing a step-plan for deputies and bringing us on par with other agencies?

Not really. Most agencies pay average of $250/paycheck. That's close to $6,000/year for family coverage. My 35000 a year salary combined with what I would have to pay for my family's medical would bring me to 41,000. What gives when everyone else is topping out in the 60s?

Other agencies don't have a car-1 who is more consumed by higher political ambitions than taking care of their front line people. It looks good for MS to return millions every year when campaigns on a "less spending" platform.
