Scott Israel's NBV departure

Can anyone explain what happen that caused Scott Israel's separation from NBV?

He ran for Broward Sheriff

Did he voluntarily resign or was he terminated?

He left on his own accord, no adverse action involved, why ?

Some reporter was reporting he was adminstratively discharged with cause. I hadn't heard that and was rather shocked.

He stuck his nose in poop. He was promptly asked to leave.

That's great info thanks. Can anyone explain what the "poop" was.

How long was he Chief there? 1 year? Did you guys like him?
