WOW, stop drinking the cool-aid. There is absolutely no reason to disseminate an email directed to the sergeants. If you have a concern, why don't you take it up with the union board instead of sucking up to the admin? Oh I forgot, you are the good ol' boy of the lcso. A deputy that is barely paying bills can thank you for trying to **** up the only chance we have at seeing light at the end of the tunnel.

So splain this to me...

Sheriff Scott seeks endorsement of unions when he first runs for elected office. This is a fact.

Sheriff Scott takes 50,000.00 bucks from the PBA during his first election campaign.

Sheriff Scott publically states that he supports the unionization effort of the Lee County Sheriff Deputies.

He wins.

He ignores the rank and file membership.

Agency goes straight downhill after Ferrante has left.

No pay increase and deputies on food stamps for years.

A union gets voted in because nobody else is doing anything a process that the Sheriff supported after accepting 50000.00 bucks from the union

The union endorses someone else after he fails to stand with is competition

The sheriff says that he doesn’t support the union because unions supported Obama.

Uhhhhhh....They supported him too. More than they did Obama as the union was the single largest contributor to his campaign. he kind of overlooked that fact.

Now that they are showing how bad things have become under his reign he doesn’t like them? Holy crap what a hypocrite.

Now this BS?

Think about that Sergeants.

All of those emails being sent by individuals outlining their concerns and distaste for the unions are just a back door way of sucking up to the sheriff and his staff. Since it would be way too obvious to just send the sheriff an email telling him that you support him against the meanie-weenie stupid heads who support the union, you craft some half literate, uninformed email to a select group of colleagues. You do this knowing full well that your email will land in a boss's inbox soon enough. Your hope is that the boss will say to another boss, "You know that Deputy/Sergeant __________? He/She's a real team player. He/she's really on board with the program."

Its a punk move and those people should be treated like the brown nosing ass lickers they are.

Wait. If the unions support Obama and Mike took a huge contribution from a union in 2004...I guess Mike and Barrack have more in common than they thought!

And hopefully after this election they will have one more thing in common: Former tacked on to the front of their titles!
