If you noticed, about 15 of the donors are businesses that find it in their interest to donate to Scott. Many of the other names are part of the power structure of Lee County, Stillwell, Henderson, etc.. This will buy him some votes, but the fun has just started. It is said that the average voter remembers something about a candidate about 8 days before an election. Rest assure that the tyrant will be exposed like never before. Timing is everything!

It's a shame and should be a crime to get a career "leg up" by making yourselfs popular with the bosses by making campaign contributions and sending emails announcing how you changed your mind and now agree with their policies you used to tell everyone were dumb. You whores should ashamed of yourselves, but your not. and bosses, why is hard work and good job performance not reason for promotions? Do you really need your egos fed at the expense of our effectivenesss? Or is it that you are guaranteing a new crop of upper level supervisors who will be as incompetent as yourselves so you wont look bad? Thanks, let the "LCSO way" continue into the future.

He turned in his letter at 1:00am, he was logged off by dispatch. I was there when he handed his letter to the Watch Comander. Is was Gary D. that covered his shift. There were 30 calls for service after 12am, he showed on none of them because he was gone. He didn't respond on Sig-22's, or approved any reports after 12am period. He left his shift at 12am period there's a reason why he never showed taking another cfs afrer 12am. Look at the calls that were generated. A lie plain and simple. Or maybe he just didn't back his guys on all those calls after 12am. Try and spin the truth the cad dosent lie.

So whoever entered 0430 hours for off-duty is lying and doctored the CAD? Also does a Sgt. have to respond on every call that a deputy receives if it is not of an emergency nature and simply a call for service?

If anyone in the agency disliked Scott more, it was this chick. She is a (closet) pro union supporter. How fake.

If you take a close look at who donated, you will see that most of these members are paying Mike back for their promotions (in which they received thousands of dollars in pay increases), letting him know they appreciate their cushioned job assignment (and want to keep it) or they are just making a statement, I want the next promotion. Many Sheriffs refuse to take any donations from their membership, why doesn't this one?

This is a backwoods agency. The moral is in the shitter. It is all about who you know. Benefits are on par with other agencies, but the pay here sucks. Kangaroo IA court and discipline. Fear and intimidation. Why is Mike even running?

Well, I had to see for myself so I went and looked at all Scott's reports that have posted at the Lee ELections website so far. Everyone should. There were A LOT of names I was surprised to see. Like WOW. Anyways, I don't know that much about elections but I thought an individual could only donate up to $500 each? How can she have donated twice and exceeded the allowed amount? It must be a typo. If it isn't, then she has figured out a way to circumvent the law. If she did figure out a way, she has set the bar pretty high for everyone else. Those who have donated lesser amounts look pretty foolish, don't they? I'm not referring to the regular working Joes and Janes, but the Major (who donated $100), or the Captains, etc....

Regarding your first sentence, you're right. Those who have donated and previously received lucrative promotions SHOULD reward their boss for their promotion. Those who haven't received promotions SHOULD do what they have to do to get noticed. Look at Dave Drum. Do you honestly think he embarked on his own long-distance walk for Fallen Officers? NO, it was his OWN pet project that he forced upon the LCSO to acknowledge due to his constant grandstanding. He was the one who pushed for the press releases, he was the one constantly in the PIO's office - if he was doing it for purely good reasons, he should have done it quietly and gracefully. Not showboating. Dave found a way to get attention without dipping into his own pocket. Do what you have to do to get a raise. Everybody else does. Do you want to be left behind again?

How about the multiple donations trying to stay under the radar....lol.
Some Sergeants with better donations than admin....so the cost of an LT position is: sell out the union, kiss ass, and donate to the corporal.....not to mention your souls

04-28-2012, 06:39 PM
Looking at the list on the LC Election web site was sickening. Whats scary is these same people used to ***** about MS and his admin guys, calling them crooks and evil and incompetent and stuff like that. Advise for the newbies, unless you join the club you DONT have any friends here. say NOTHING, trust NOBODY. Come to think of it, the club probably dosent matter either. these people will be slitting each others throats to get ahead if MS wins again.

Mike Scott continues to pay 1980s wages and these people want him re-elected? Are they out of their minds? Mike Scott cares so much about his employees that every year he goes before the county commission demanding a pay increase. We are the lowest paid for a reason and Mike Scott does not care about you or this agency. The man refuses to sit down at the same table with IUPA to work on a resolution and improve morale of the agency he leads.

how about the man that gave iupa nearly everything thev've beenwanting?

steps, career progression, raises (he'll go to tallahassee).

stop *****ing, do something right for a change

Hello there Lee County Sheriff's Deputies! I see you guys are getting into the election mode and from what I've read and heard, your Sheriff seems to be on many of your dump list, if you know what I mean. As a fellow and retired Deputy, yes many of us do make it to retire, I've worked for several Sheriffs and knew many more. We had one Sheriff who almost demanded support, i.e. money, we, or the voters got rid of him once our union came out and told the whole truth about the man. Then we had a Sheriff who refused, yes refused to take a single nickel from any member, including his Undersheriff. He fought for us tooth and nail and what did we do, we had campaign parties for him, got our friends and businesses to contribute to his campaign, what happened, he raised money hand over fist and was our Sheriff for decades. GOOD LUCK!

I saw Leclairs name on the elections site but whoever re-wroe the names here didn't add his.

I concur, a number of the donations have come from members, who when surrounded by other members, they trust, give their real views of the administration, or lack thereof. I did ask one member if they gave, knowing full well they had, and after some pushing on my part, admitted they had. Their reason, other members of their rank had given under pressure from downtown staff.

Just like Santa they are making a list and you can bet that they are checking it twice. Play it smart and make a donation to get your name on the list to protect your job but even Santa can't see inside the voting booth so vote your conscience and protect your integrity by ridding the agency of the disease that is crippling all of us.

It is totally expected for the Sheriff to out pace not only his opposition, but other elected officials as well. Look at who he has to draw from that other elected officials don't have: food services for the jail, law firms who he uses, car companies, equipment companies, uniforms, local businesses who use LCSO as security, alarm companies, etc. Not to mention strong arming members who want promotions or some sort of position, especially those he has already shown favor towards.

05-01-2012, 03:15 AM
What is most amussing about the list of members to donate to a someone who has refused to give them any raises for years and years. Mike is basically laughing and spitting on you and your family, but like scared little sheep you donate money to re-elect him for what? More years of no raises and ass kissing? Lets just keep puckering up for 4 more years. The best is the names who were constantly MFing Mike, but now are kissing his ass must be hard to have to look at yourself in the mirror. You deserve Mike.

It's amazing how simple minded some can be. Just because you like someone and I like someone else, somehow I'm wrong and you're right. Did it ever dawn on you, that we know MS isn't perfect, but he still might be better than the options available. What about everyone donating to the other candidates "war chest" are their intentions without flaws. I know several on TF team that have already been promised massive promotions, such as Sgt. to Capt., Sgt. to Major, Captain to Car 2. I don't have any problem with that an I understand a Sheriff is going to put those he trust in positions, but don't act like this is only done by MS.

One thing all these people have in common, they all want something without having to work for it! Good Luck, we all lose  this time.

Keep voting the same guy back into office and join the insane!

Yes lets look at all that Mike has promoted. Where are they? Mike dumped and ran off his original group from his first election. Just so he could stay friends with a convicted Felon old ****ey Spence. He now surronds himself with ex Mike haters who now have lubed up their lips to smooch his backside. Mike has G. Mitar donating to him what a joke. Mike ran off old Georgie boy and what has he promised him? Lets vote Mike back in wont it be great another 4 years no raises and running around scared.

05-02-2012, 01:20 AM
May Sunshine, you are so full of Shizzzzzz its ridiculous. TF hasn't promised nobody anything and for you to say that is and out lie. Quit trying to divert the attention from your boy friend MS and grow a pair you piece of shizzzzz!!! Facts are facts!!!

WTH? That is funnier than hell right there! Way to go Chris!

Please they are all the same. Ms has ****y. Tf has Kobie and Mc. Lb has Marian S (better known as Karma or Lisa c mom) so they all have dirt in their closets. And if you don't think Tf has made any promises you're Sig 20. What car # will JL be? That position is already locked tight. Some would say the evil you know is better than the one you don't. Let the quotes begin. They are all the same.

SO GLAD to not be in law enforcement any more....Go back to school guys and girls-The Medical field is the way to go. 12 years of that BS was enough for me and I still get a retirement.

05-23-2012, 02:07 AM
JL a car#, sounds good to me, let's see someone who is not hiding, fighting for more than what we have, sticking his neck out even for those who are cowards. So sounds like a leader to me, and sees what's wrong at LCSO and you no where he stands. Man he should have run for sheriff. How about Laz in 2016 that is if Fisher doesn't get this one.
