The city didn't have funds during good times to maintain it folks, and the same things are there for it to fail again. It cannot seat enough people to be able to charge enough rental to maintain the place. Nothing has changed, and it will cost funds they do not have or WILL have. And then, who will the commission screw to balanced the books? But did you see the ball park and trolley system ? AND the new parking garages? Assume the position guys and gals.

You forgot the James L. Knight Center which has drained the city coffers for millions for almost 30 years.

If handled right this property could help the city but instead the same mismanagement that has happened with the Orange Bowl and Watson Island will make this property another pot of gold for a few greedy scammers.
