Dead Weight / Departmental Zeros

One of the biggest problems of this place are all the zeros that have been hiding in cushy spots for YEARS!!! Chief, please shake things up and start transferring some of this dead weight around. Why should we have police officers and Sgts in investigations & desk jobs for 10, 15, 20 years. Move people around, send desk job people to the streets to help patrol

Hell send the SRO back to patrol, school board has a police dept. civilians in PIO and off duty jobs brings even more people to the BASIC FUNCTION of police work, to PROTECT AND SERVE. GEE WHAT AN IDEA!

Did you know we have a CATE unit? Whats CATE? Crimes against the elderly. Apparently patrol cant investigate and arrest someone who commits a crime against them. Look at the staffing unit, 4 police officers and a Sgt just to tell us how understaffed we are when its them hooking up their friends with days off. Off duty? Alarm unit? PAL? Property? Radio shop? What a waste.

Next time you get drafted or sent to Central or North or South, blame staffing unit.

No, they are not working here, they are employed here silly.

My suggestion to the chief is to make all light duty n limited duty personal work the weekends n put them on b shift hours and you will see that half of them will be cured in a week and all medical appointments on thier own time not on duty . U will see the likes of the Pio guy get cured fast .
