career decision

Hello I currently live in the northeast and in corrections.
I love the weather in florida etc.
Do you guys recommend me to switch careers from corrections to pd in florida?
I have five years on the job at my current job?

I would apply and make sure you can find a job here in Florida, because hiring is slim to none.
