Hey Al, 712-83 on the contract count. We will see you at the County Commission buddy. We will never agree to another contract with you again that involves an opener (which means 0). See you at the County Commission loser!

Who would have thought it takes 4 years for roadies to go from blind to sighted

I bet the 83 votes came from downtown CI and SID......

Between Wheeler, Gillette, Wimberly, DeJesus, Cavallo, and Reilly it costs the taxpayers $1,000,000 in salaries alone. Now add the benefits and you are way over $1,800,000. That money could be put to better use since nothing good comes from any of them.

$1,800,000 would be far better spent on the people that are actually doing the work around here.

"Oh, I'm broke". That's why I promoted Wiley Thompson yesterday to full colonel. We really need another colonel don't we? Please don't tell the guys you're broke. Just be truthful and say you're a card carrying Republican that wants to strangle his workforce on the front line.

I say we vote for minus 3, minus 3, minus 0, give back our units since half of them have over 100k miles anyway and we can't even put a sticker on them! Then we all go on reserve status with no benefits and apply for food stamps? As long as the sheriff and colones are able to boost there retirement and screw ours up!

dont forget the 6 million dollar helicopter we are buying

12-18-2011, 02:56 PM
Just remember all these Majors, Lt Col and Col will be ousted once either Israel or Granteed gets elected. I hope for Granteed...at least then we can go to strip clubs on our 10-40 and he cant say anything because he has done it!!!

12-18-2011, 05:30 PM
Strip club are legal businesses if not why wouldn't they would be shut down. It may have been bad judgment stopping duriong your shift but nothing more. Go to any strip club and some of the customers are off duty LEO's. Thank God this is America.

We are at impasse as of today.

I love how Lamberti goes on 411 Friday to scare us and say we might have to pay the cost of UNFUNDED health care costs. Sheriff, you should've FUNDED it from the beginning. You left us no choice but to vote it down. When will you stop taking from us? By the way, I don't care that the other lame unions accepted your lousy deal. That's their fault.

12-19-2011, 10:55 PM
He alread srewed the retired LEO's who health cost went up an average of 20% but he didn't mention that in his 411 message did he.

The Sheriff still has the 3% that we are contributing to FRS. That money directly reduces his cost by 3%. Maybe he should use some of that to pay the additional health care cost!

Very funny but how true.

Hey Sheriff Lamberti. I really don't think you are getting any support from the retirees this time. They are facing a 20 percent bump in premium because you refuse to bargain the best deal for us. Enjoy your one and only term. You will be remembered as the worst sheriff in our history. I know you don't care, but you will when you and your management staff take the elevator down to the first floor for the last time.

Why can't the Sheriff use this money to pay the health care???

Because he is giving it to his friends.

Where to begin... Had the sheriff bargained in good faith with the PBA we wouldn't have voted his offer down. But he didn't negotiate he came to the table and offered nothing. 0% and then the insurance issue. No rate increase but he increases deductibles, copayments and prescription payments. Hey Al maybe had you offered 1% or 2% you may have gotten the vote you wanted. Instead you came in with these exact words 0% and the insurance offer as "Your Final and Best!" in my opinion that's take what I f*£king offer or leave it. Now you go public and say you negotiated in good faith, BS! And are trying to tell everyone at BSO that if the insurance issue isn't resolved it's the DLE Deputies and Sergeants fault. Just like when the jailers went against you last time you bad mouthed them and changed their classification to techs. Lamberti you are a F*€£ing azzhole!

Wait until the chiefs start threatening the guys. Big staff meeting said to get the vote right or the chiefs will be getting unpaid vacation days. You know what that means right?

It is everybody elses fault except the criminal Lameberti.

Why can't the Sheriff use this money to pay the health care???

Actually it is more than 3%. The Sheriff used to pay 21% towards FRS. Then we were forced to contribute 3%. But what did not make the news is the Gov. Scott LOWERED the total contribution rate to 17.1%. This was either an attempt to take some pressure off the local governments or an attempt to intentially bankrupt FRS. Either way, BSO contribution to FRS this year is 14.1%.

Here is the liknk, https://www.rol.frs.state.fl.us/forms/i ... s_only.pdf (https://www.rol.frs.state.fl.us/forms/ir11-150_rates_only.pdf)

So now that BSO is actually saving 7%, where is the money going?

Once again.........he is giving it to his friends. 195K, 170K, 170K, 150K...and on and on. Where is the public outrage?

12-21-2011, 02:48 AM
The fact that my retirement insurance just went up $300 a month and that is not even what was sent out on the open enrollment paperwork. It's double what was on that paperwork. That's a major issue. Thanks sheriff for looking out the people that served for you. We will make sure to look out for you at election time.....
