View Full Version : Chiefs Interviews

11-23-2011, 05:00 PM
The city is conducting interviews for Chief of Police in December. The list has been "narrowed" down to ten who will be interviewed by a selection panel. The question is, why? Everyone knows that Orosa is the chief and that he has been hand picked by the mayor and FOP. It is a waste of time and money to continue this farce that was dreamed up by Cabrera and the Mayor to make it appear there is a national search going on.

It is time to move on. Orosa is the chief until Cabrera decides he is going to be chief and then Orosa is out. Once Regalado is out, and if the city elects a competent and ethical mayor, then the MPD will get a true chief of police.

The ignorance of some of you on this site is beyond belief. This site has turned into scifi channel online. If you brIng someone from the outside that person will become a victim of politics because they do not know the playing field..it better be Manuel Orosa or the department is in trouble. Stop the fighting guys let's move on......we need tom unite not devide in these hard times....

We embrace chief Arosa and are happy he will be the new chief. You cronies need to stop it already, your smear campaign has run out of steam.

You folks don't realize baker Louie reads this post and I bet prints them out. Someone complained on here about the special units still burning the precious O T two months AFTER expo getting fired, and BAMM, the units go back to patrol. People on here say, Manny be the man and the search is a sham, and what the hell do you think they are going to do. My question is, which one of the ten names reads. Manuel Orosa? And forget about the next chief after Manny, The baker is getting the four stars. Then, the excrement is hitting the A C vent. He doesn't have a clue. Went around asking people how do I do this, how do I do that when he got the three stars. Laughing stock will be used a lot when he becomes chief.

You guys think there doing interviews, that's just talk that they stirred up so to make it look like they are. You guys actually think they would have let Orosa make promotions if he wasn't gonna be the Chief!! Look out for December 9, 2011. That's the day Orosa is suppose together sworn in...The City of Miami is a JOKE!!!

You guys are so dumb. Who else has the experience orosa has as a police officer and with the Miami Pd. No one does, so he is the best and only choice, its a no brainer. Stop acting like its rigged or you are in shock, no one else is going to out qualify him so stop trying to stir shizzat up because you will not get anything accomplished but make yourself look like a hater.

BANANA REPUBLIC!

Perhaps it is probably more of a Kleptocracy.

Actually, O Henry ( the author, not the Candy bar- you illiterate fools..lol) first dubbed the term while living in Honduras.

Roy Brown was already an MPD cop when Manny Orosa was still in Middle School. He was also an Asst. Chief while Manny Orosa was only a major.

I just answered your question about who has more MPD experience than Orosa. The only area that Orosa surpasses Roy Brown is in his ability to negotiate wih the Feds. He worked out a deal to avoid going to jail in the leonardo Mercado beating murder.

Roy for chief!!!!!!!!!

Very very nice Roy. But Manny is going to be it, when the farce "national search" IS OVER WITH. Best you worry which black wants your slot.

11-25-2011, 12:38 AM
you people are fools...Orosa is going to be chief because that is what the mayor wants and not for any other reason

keep kidding yourselves that he is qualified for the job

11-25-2011, 06:06 PM
Anyone know whats going on with Regalado's NATIONAL SEARCH, any updates?

11-25-2011, 09:05 PM
Anyone know whats going on with Regalado's NATIONAL SEARCH, any updates?
Yes, they are still looking into it but the problem is that they prefer someone who will be in for the long haul. Some have demonstrated that they just want to use MPD as a stepping stone of as a temporary job. This is the case with many of the outsiders.

Your on fantasy island luisito.
If anyone but Manny get's the job, your future chiefdom might be at stake. "Tio" tommy, could have trouble firing another chief who doesn't work with idiots. Back to City Hall AGAIN? I mean even the clowns at Herald Plaza could awake and ask questions. And you want us to believe someone trying for a job is telling the entity they will move on? really luisito? came back with something better.

It is hard to believe that Orosa can compete with the names that have been mentioned so far. There will be interviews then the manager will announce that the best candidate is already in place. It is a done deal. If orosa isnt going to be chief then Llanes wouldnt have been promoted.

11-27-2011, 03:57 AM
Word is Cannon is the top choice. Cannon is da man!!! He will finally bring integrity, hard work and esprit de corps back to the Miami Police Department

11-27-2011, 06:06 AM
DC supports Orosa game over Orosa Chief.

11-27-2011, 12:40 PM
By December 9th...One word...4 letters....Vanna help us out here: L-U-B-E....observe and learn!

They are going to feel very foolish when Chief twitch gets named the "predetermined" winner.

No! I dont want a department full of azz kissers and I like wearing my white socks to work.

11-27-2011, 07:21 PM
Orosa is the least qualified of the group, but he will be chief. It is Miami. Regalado cant govern his butt out of the parking garage deal do you think he is going to pick a good chief?

Get real. Cuban politics say it is Orosa. Check out Gorts re-election campaign donations and you will see who is going to be chief.

Sorry frankie, but you aren't getting the F O P "endorsement ". Orosa has a strong choke hold on that. And is the Chief when the smoke screen get's blown away.

11-27-2011, 11:18 PM
The process is a joke. At least one of the finalists has made it known he is just going thru it for the experience and another is going to withdraw. Why is Regalado wasting the time of the people who are sitting on the panel. Very unprofessional on his part and Johnny Martinez to waste the time of hard working people to sit thru the interviews Just give it to Orosa now so you dont have to try to justify why the least qualified candidate was selected.

Why is Major Lube the only one that was invited from the other 4 or 5 that applied? Hmmmmm.

C’mon man! Who’s going to apply for such a prestigious police chief position as is Miami; only to go through the process for the “experience”, a jerk? Then there’s the other who you said applied but is “withdrawing”! Is that person a fool too? Or, are you just talking out of your six and don’t know $hit? Let the process play out, if Orosa is ultimately appointed, good for him. Every person deserves an opportunity at redemption.

IF OROSA? the "process" is a sham. If the FBI SAC hadn't have recommended a "national search" for a chief, there wouldn't be a sham B S "search". Orosa promoted people and the commission said not to, till the final choice was made. Manny be's the man dude.

You must be in the know; truly connected to the decision makers? In that case, God's to speed to him!

11-28-2011, 05:21 PM
Is it true that Robin Starks applied? If it is, Robin ITW is not a requisite

11-28-2011, 06:43 PM
We'll find out if the search for a chief and the process that follows is a sham.

If Manuel Orosa gets the job, it definitely is a sham. Manny is not even close to being the most qualified MPD Staff member, much less the most qualified for the chief's job in the field of candidates.

A Miami High night school GED isn't going to cut it, Manny.

Roy Brown is the next chief. The mayor needs the black vote, since he already lost the Hispanic votes.

If she did good for her. I know she has a masters degree and is a very smart young lady. She not as dumd as you think.

Blom has been filling Rojas in on MPD and introducing him to the people who he thinks may be able to help him. In return Blom will remain as AC.

Orosa is attending fund raisers.

FF is trying to use the Diaz - Arrieola connection.

Burden...black vote of course

Cannon- no politics so he is done

What a great selection process.

11-30-2011, 04:17 PM
OK, can you name one person that has seen Bloom and Rojas together or who he has introduced Rojas too? Dont think so......
