The 5th annual “Ride for Ron” memorial ride will take place on Saturday, November 12th, 2011. Sgt. Ron Harrison (HCSO) was murdered on August 15th, 2007 after leaving a DUI Checkpoint in Brandon. Starting at 4pm at the USF Sundome, the ride will stop at Brandon Harley-Davidson for prize drawings, and then on to O’Brien’s Pub at the Ron Harrison Memorial Intersection. This is a fun ride, so no registration fee will be collected. Tee shirts will be available for purchase, and all proceeds will benefit the Hillsborough County chapter of Mothers against Drunk Driving (MADD). Registration can be accomplished by visiting www.leo-strategies.com, and clicking the “Ride for Ron” tab at the top of the page.
