PBA Meeting

The P.B.A. is asking all bargaining unit members (to include non-union members) to attend a meeting at the PBA headquarters in Doral on Wednesday October 12 between the hours of 1700-1900 hours. All our futures will be discussed. This meeting is in regards to the upcoming election and a straw vote will be held.

If any questions please call any of the reps and we will further explain. You should definitely attend.

If this is such an important meeting why is it in the middle of the week with a two hour window? Shouldn't everyone have a voice just like when we vote on a contract? We are under contract for 2 more years, why get involved? And if we do get involved it should be decided by a vote from the entire department, not a handful of people. There is no way you will get a good turn out with this meeting with the why it is scheduled. Do things the right way and that way no one will complain later.
