Thank you Chief for the great entertainment you provide. Another whistleblower action by the greatest corruption fighter to ever wear a uniform! For those of you who don't know the real story about the great anti-corruption chief here is a brief version of the truth.
Upon facing demotion for conspiring to become chief ( I know, hard to believe) the "Mexican Sergeant" files a whistleblower lawsuit which he NEVER won. Using his political connections ( Regaldo & Gonzalez, two pillars of ethics in their own right) to pressure the city attorney into reaching a settlement. The city attorney buckled and settled the action while admitting no wrong doing.
Now using the same rabbit and the same hat....presto!
