Highway Patrol

I recently visited Suffolk County from out of state. I see Sheriff's cars on the LIE and I saw a 5th Precinct car with the words HIGHWAY PATROL on the windshield. Do you guys patrol the Sunrise Highway? What section does your Highway Patrol work?

Suffolk Sheriff no longer patrols LIE, Suffolk County HWY Patrol took back the LIE and Sunrise HWY.
